This is my first photo session. what should I expect?
The complimentary pre-session consultation covers all the details about what you would like for your portrait session. Style guides, some accessories and location scouting can all be provided by request.
An agreement and contract will be signed by both photographer and client that ensures a complete understanding of all expectations of session.
What payment options do you provide? What is your cancellation policy?
A non-refundable 25% deposit is required for booking a session. Remaining amount due on day of session. Credit, debit, e-transfer and cash are all accepted.
Rebooking a session is possible if you need to cancel a session, and the deposit can be transferred over.
Can you recommend any good locations?
There are many urban and rural areas, including waterfront places and parks that provide interesting, vibrant and tranquil spots for creative sessions. Sometimes it's a favourite cafe, your backyard, or a cool place to bring your car for a photo session.
Studio bookings are available in my studio at no additional fee located in downtown Peterborough. Other studios that can be booked will be an additional fee.
How long does it take to receive my images?
All sessions include carefully curated high resolution digital images that are sent out to your private online client gallery for downloading and sharing.
I send sneak peeks within the first week, followed by your full gallery within four weeks.
What should I bring to a family session?
As a suggestion, if you have children in the session, bring minimal items that they love. Stuffed animals, toys, and snacks/drinks. Anything that can keep them engaged for the length of time is helpful, but not absolutely necessary. Electronic devices will not keep them engaged in the photo session, while their eyes will be looking down. A change of clothing is also recommended. If there are individuals that require seating, I can arrange for that to make it as comfortable as possible.
Do you provide mini sessions?
I offer specific mini sessions a couple of times a year. A specific location with a set is curated by myself, while offering a unique portrait session in Peterborough. Any active, current sessions will be highlighted in the Mini Sessions page of my website. Non-refundable portion of payment is required for a mini session.
What to expect with your experience

Send me any type of inquiry with as much information as you already have. This is where it all begins! I respond promptly to inquiries and provide all the info you require to move forward for a booking.

This is where we go over the details about your session. An initial phone chat, then a meet up depending on the type of session. No deposit is required until a confirmation is made about going further.
Client/photographer agreement and contract will be negotiated.
03.
After a pre-session confirmation by phone or text on the session day, I will share the experience unfold with some sneak peeks. Any requests made will be provided for your session.
04.
Portrait, couple and family session images are sent out within four to six weeks.
Wedding and baptism images are sent out within six to eight weeks.
Carefully curated high resolution digital images are sent out to your online client gallery for downloading and sharing.
A sneak peek of five images are sent out in the first week.
